Abrasive Wheels

Abrasive Wheels Instructor

This course is designed to equip experienced operators with the knowledge and skills to safely train others in the selection, mounting, and use of abrasive wheels, in compliance with Safety, Health and Welfare at Work regulations.

Abrasive Wheels Instructor Training

This advanced abrasive wheels instructor module is ideal for those who already have experience with wheel operations and now wish to train others in wheel safety. It focuses on teaching methods, course delivery techniques, and how to assess learner competence. Participants will gain confidence in delivering abrasive wheel training safely and effectively, following national safety standards and regulations.

Wheels Safety and Operation

The course provides in-depth knowledge of wheels safety, including the correct mounting, balancing, and use of abrasive wheels in various settings. Trainees learn how to inspect wheels for wear, identify defects, and understand the mechanical stresses that occur during operation. This ensures a safer workplace where every operator can manage abrasive wheel use confidently.

Certification and Practical Skills

Upon completion, candidates receive an Abrasive Wheels Certificate, recognising their ability to provide abrasive training and operate abrasive equipment safely. Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have completed two courses with Samson Training, each with a different instructor. They have both been excellent courses with very good instructors, and the communication with the organisers are second to none. A special thanks to Melody who kept me up to date and informed on my upcoming training!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Recently Booked an IOSH Health and Safety Course through Samson. Samson did not directly provide the training but I found them easy and reliable to deal through they found a course provider to best suit my requirements. I really enjoyed the course and the course instructor through her own experience was able to provide real life examples of Health and Safety Issues. There was interaction with Q & A’s between different sections of the course which kept the course interesting.
